Vintage Borchalou Rug Product Description and Details

:: Diamond shaped center medallion with unidirectional germinating plant therein atop a covered field in a Herati motif. Colors and shades include: Inidgo blue, cobalt blue, deep blush, aubergine, dusty gold, wine red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with loss to either end and exposed side cord selvage. Fully secured sides and ends using an overcast stitch. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Borchalou rug made in Persia circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'6" x 3'11".
