2.5x4 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Single diamond shaped center medallion with thin interior lattice vines. Stepped corner spandrels cover the field reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Some asymmetry in weight and spacing of the design being more compact from one end to the opposing. Awesome soft abrashes across with a main border in a serrated geometric floral design rendering. Colors and shades include: Dusty pink, ivory, beige, pale raspberry red and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'5" x 4'1".
