:: Unusual allover covered field with minor suggested medallion with quatrefoil orientation of outwardly directed palmettes and lotus flowers atop a covered field of simplistic blossoms in geometric form and ornate oversize scale lotus flowers surrounding. Barber pole stylized alternating colorful minor borders with a serpent main border, really unusual for type and age. Colors and shades include: Faded raspberry, ivory, jade green, chocolate brown, dark copper, sky blue, burgundy, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Lilihan rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'6" x 3'10".
