:: Classic intricate Karaja design with large center medallion with hooked contrasting outline and mirrored, slightly more rectilinear and square shaped medallions. Lots of interesting nuances in this particular piece, especially the Laleh Abassi (reciprocating pawn design) and abundant use of the color green throughout. Colors and shades include: Rust, madder root red, cherry red, pea green, light blue, sky blue, navy blue, ivory, saffron yellow, teal, and more. Recently professionally cleaned and ready for in-home use! Secure sides and ends. Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Karaja rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage!
