:: Single column germinating tree of life design motif within a lozenge cartouche shaped outlined rendering. Corner spandrels of the main field in a pinwheel design motif with wide main border in floral top view and alternating color fills. Heavy changes in dye lots, namely those in the beige and magenta / fuchsia shades. Colors and shades include: Dusty burgundy, dusty mint green, sea foam green, magenta, royal blue, pale tangerine orange, ivory, pale saffron yellow, sandalwood, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Possible expert restoration to one outer minor border along the perimeter. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage.
