:: Shield-like center medallion with floral top views outwardly directed with trefoil germinating plants as finials stemming from either opposing end. The wefting has a colorful rag rug-like array of color variation whereby varying coloration of textile materials have been integrated in for a dynamic appearance on the reverse side of the rug which better illustrates the full construction. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, faded raspberry red, faded black cherry red, beige, cream, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug runner made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 2'6" x 4'11".
