:: Center medallion with scalloped contour and detailed pearl seed enveloped detailing adorned at either end by minor finials atop a covered field of intricate vine interconnecting buds and floral design elements. Corner spandrel overlays reciprocate the main medallion in quarter map relief of that of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, dark navy blue, powder blue, ivory, beige, sand, cream, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Josan Sarouk square rug mat made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 2' x 2'7".
