:: Perched birds facing one another on either opposing end of the field with dramatic large scale floral blossoms in the ground wrapped by a pearl minor border. Colors and shades include: Faded brick red, navy blue, ivory, powder blue, beige, sand, burgundy, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Newer polychrome side cord selvages. Loss to both ends minor borders. Multiple thread-bare areas to the interior with possible signs of reconciled touch-ups. Early example of a painted rug. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Lilihan square rug mat made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'1" x 2'6".
