3.5x10 Vintage Caucasian Rug Runner

:: Playful covered field in repeating botehs each with unique artistic merit. Wrapped by a crap style main border and reciprocating pawn outer border. Fun and unusual horizontal striated checkered main field botehs. Colors and shades include: Cobalt blue, cream, madder root red, rust, chestnut, pale tangerine orange, sky blue, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Very large regions of exposed foundation, some of which has been reinforced, all of which appears relatively stable for light to moderate foot traffic without rubber soled shoes. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian rug runner made in the Caucasus region circa 1920's vintage.
