3.5x13 Vintage Turkish Kilim Rug Runner

:: Single column multi-oversize hexagonal medallions with interior snowflake and geometric floral design elements wrapped by reciprocating border contour. Colors and shades include: Charcoal, pale raspberry cochineal red, cherry red, silver, pale lime green, tangerine orange, dusty olive green, and more. Condition notes: Weave across in original condition. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides, mostly secure ends. Disparity in coloration from front to reverse, with oxidation and patina to the front of the rug. Two or three minor old pulls at the point of color change near splits inherent to this weaving technique. One end measures 3'2" in comparison to the other, which measures 3'6", within normal margins for the type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand woven Turkish Kilim design rug runner made in Turkey circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'6" x 12'10".
