Likely woven in the outskirts, in and around Heriz, with heavy dense construction. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, cherry red, sapphire blue, sky blue, dusty rose, terracotta, pale coffee brown, chocolate brown, jade green, emerald green, ivory, copper, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Slight contour to shape, within normal margin for type and age. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'6" x 16'3".
