:: Oversized center medallion with elongated and romantic arrowhead and finials atop an open field. Corner spandrels hint at a herati motif, although only partially embellished. Inner and outer minor borders comprised of meandering vine and floral cross-section motif. Main border playfully featuring pinwheel style floral top views in randomly alternating color fills unpatterened. Colors and shades include: Faded brick red, blush, dark navy blue, navy blue, faded tangerine orange, sky blue, coffee brown, dark chocolate, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads and foundation. Mostly secure, although worn, side cord selvages. Tatter and loss to opposing ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kurdish Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'5" x 5'4".
