:: Quatrefoil minor center medallion with double palmettes on either side and checkered geometric floral top views inside a larger hexagonal lightning serrated d main medallion adorned by trefoil finials atop a covered field. Wide banded main border in a samovar turtle design motif. Colors and shades include: Chestnut brown, copper, dusty denim blue, ivory, beige, charcoal brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. A few minor areas of expert re-weave. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Hamadan rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'7" x 5'5".
