:: Classic Herati motif with elegantly drawn detail in a tribal weave. Field is replete with floral and animal interpretations, including snakes, birds, and more. Colors and shades include: Dark navy blue, sky blue, madder root red, pale saffron yellow, beige, ivory, chocolate brown, charcoal black, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across with minor isolated areas of wear to foundation. Secure sides with some original goat hair selvage intact, partially redone in other areas, and overcast ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Kurdish rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 3'5" x 5'10".
