:: Open field abrashed throughout with inwardly directed germinating buds bearing stepped corner spandrel overlays at either end of the main field. Wide banded main border in delicate meandering vine and rose design motif. Colors and shades include: Faded raspberry red, pale cherry red, faded cochineal red, ivory, silver, charcoal brown, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 3'8" x 6'2".
