:: Covered field of pomegranate stylized guls and crab-style design fills with elephant footprint larger medallions and truly elaborate and nuanced field with serpents and animal figures scattered throughout. Wide banded main border in a continuous meandering vine with hook and latch design motif with reciprocating wave well contrasted inner and outer minor borders. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, madder root red, ivory, pale coffee brown, dark beige, and more. Condition notes: Large areas of foundation showing through with wear across to knot heads. Tatter to sides and ends. Part of the original flatwoven ends are mostly intact with multiple areas of openings and tatter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Belouch rug runner made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 3'8" x 7'6".
