3x4.5 Vintage Distressed Kula Rug

:: Center medallion with Rococo stylized outlines adorned at either end by minor finials top an open field with main field overlay in minor buds and seed design motif arranged in partial lattice orientation. At either opposing end of the main field are double niches with centuries old dragon stylized design elements with arabesque flares. Colors and shades include: Dusty cherry red, beige, chocolate brown, mauve, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with foundation showing through. Side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized areas of restoration in multiple spots with varying degrees of expertise. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Kula rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 3'3" x 4'7".
