:: Prayer design motif with a minor germinating plant at the top center spandrel. Wide banded main border in colorful floral design clusters wrapped by meandering vine minor borders and geometric blossoms. Colors and shades include: Brick red, madder root red, royal blue, chocolate brown, coffee brown, oxidized silver, dusty raspberry red, pale cochineal red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Melas rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 3' x 4'7".
