:: The design and size are very unusual and hard to find. A super sweet carpet with a small dainty size but bold personality. Reciprocating border in contrasting colors. The proportion of square, and the small size are also unusual and desirable. The large scale motif and open space in colors lends well to drawing on several shades of the rug within a room. A very playful and handsome piece. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, ivory, chocolate brown, oxidized copper green, and sky blue. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with larger areas of foundation showing through, namely etching to darker tones in the brown charcoal families, in addition to interior wear closer to the center. Tatter to sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian Kazak square rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3'3" x 3'10".
