:: Repeating geometric floral guls, framed in panels of lattice oriented vinery and diagonally repeating alternating color fills, symmetric to half the carpet. Fantastic early inspired main border of simplistic meandering vine and four petaled flour design motif. Beautiful high luster wool with a silk-like appearance and feel. Colors and shades include: Charcoal, oxidized silver, madder root red, rust, ivory, silver, slate blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Belouch rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage.
