:: Single column germinating tree of life design motif with barber pole alternating coloration and sharp serrated leaves. Weaver insignia and inscriptions found in the main field with serpent design elements wrapping the perimeter and scattered throughout. Colors and shades include: Sand, pale coffee brown, navy blue, bronze, copper, antique ivory, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Tatter to sides and ends. One or two minor hard spots in the plain weave kilim which is not cracking. Loss to multiple areas of the side selvage. Minor interior holes, some of which have had darning, and others which are quite small and untreated. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Belouch rug made in Persia circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 2'10" x 5'.
