:: Open main field peacock vignette at either opposing end with classic lotus flowers wrapping the main border. Colors and shades include: Beige, cobalt blue, navy blue, duty rose, dusty blush, oxidized silver, silver, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Tatter to sides and ends. Faux fringe applied with stitching as well as light adhesive to the plain weave. Tatter to the sides. On the reverse side there are large regions of old pad which had since embedded into the knots of the rug, since cleaned. Light tinting or mild staining. Minor old moth nibbles. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Chinese Peking rug made in China circa 1910's vintage. Size measures 3'2" x 4'10".
