:: Asymmetric main medallion with a potted plant featuring a face therein, atop a predominantly open field with corner spandrels in stepped contour mimicking the general outline of the main medallion and end finials. Each lower corner spandrel features a germinating plant of life, splayed floral cross sections, meandering vines, and leaves. Colors and shades include: Black cherry red, pale tangerine orange, slate blue, inky black, antique ivory, beige, oxidized silver, wine red, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Original side cord selvage intact. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 3'3" x 4'8".
