:: Heriz area possibly Lamboran Karaja in fine weaving and exquisite jewel tones bearing a center medallion of quatrefoil orientation and outwardly directed geometric blossoms. Either opposing end of the main field bears hook and latch stylized pomegranate cross views with germinating plants atop a covered field of pinwheel stylized floral blossoms. Main border in a starburst and germinating plant design motif interconnected by a meandering checkered vine. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, sapphire blue, jade green, pale tangerine orange, brick red, dusty teal, tomato red, pale coffee brown, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Localized restoration to the selvages with one or two minor coarser wraps. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Karaja rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3' x 4'9".
