:: A very finely woven Lilihan with an allover covered field and suggestive center shadow medallion, defined exclusively by slightly denser floral bouquets. Many nuances and nods to multiple weaving areas, including those of older mohajeran sarouks, farahan sarouks, and northwest Persians, carrying over design elements from the Herati motif. Fantastic dichotomy of an intricately woven design paired with seemingly oversized design elements barren of any design therein.Colors and shades include: Wine raspberry red, indigo blue, sky blue, powder blue, blush, dusty rose, antique ivory, pomegranate red, and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads, some white knots showing. Tatter to sides and ends, remnants of the original painting, namely in the cherry red and raspberry shades. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Fine Lilihan rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 3'2" x 4'11".
