:: Decidedly a Heriz carpet by weave, although it has shared design elements found in carpets of the Karaja weaving areas. Fantastic coloration throughout, with excellent saturation in dyes. Artistic merit throughout and many nuances of asymmetry in an otherwise symmetric weaving. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, madder root red, bright oxidized green, mallard green, blush, saffron yellow, camel, sand, sky blue, wine red, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear to knot heads with areas of low pile. Some older touch ups, fully secured sides and ends with one end maintaining it's original loom loops and the other showing tatter. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug runner made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 2'9" x 8'6".
