:: Center medallion with intricate partial Herati design motif with detailed floral blossoms atop a covered field of inverted coloration, same design. Wide banded main border in a colorful large scale geometric floral top view with crab style relief. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, sky blue, aqua blue, wine red, pink, mallard green, sapphire blue, saffron yellow, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Original side cord selvages intact. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of moth etching, mainly confined to the center field, though subtle and difficult to spot from most all angles. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Borchalou rug made in Persia circa 1940's vintage. Size measures 4'6" x 6'7".
