:: Allover covered Herati main field with stepped corner spandrel overlays in inverted coloration. Wrapped by narrow banded borders. Colors and shades include: Navy blue, pale dusty saffron yellow, sky blue, terracotta, faded tangerine orange, beige, pale coffee brown, pale sea foam jade green, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Hard localized areas of wear to foundation with partial loss of one outer minor and opposing end main border. Some minor scattered areas of reinforced interior and foundation. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Malayer rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'6" x 6'1".
