Wrapped by an inner and outer minor border in reciprocating pawn design motif and repeating floral blossom main border with hidden serpents therein. This style and design is a more intricate precursor to the rugs of today with are highly sought after. Abrashes throughout. Colors and shades include: Sapphire blue, ocean blue, gold, beige, dusty teal, deep jade green, madder root red, ivory, blush, dusty rose, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Restorations throughout. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Caucasian Kazak rug made in the Caucasus region circa 1895-1910 vintage.
