:: Allover repeating design of serrated leaves with interesting, partially suggested herati and henna plant design. Fantastic coloration and contrast throughout, with unique artistic merit in arbitrarily alternating color-fills and intricate design. Fantastic main border comprised of diminutive boteh design elements paired with top-views of pomegranates. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, brick red, ivory, moss green, mallard green, aubergine, tangerine orange, sky blue, indigo blue, cobalt blue, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with large areas of foundation showing through. Older, crude, side cord selvages mostly in tact with light areas of tatter to side, and tatter to ends. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Afshar rug made in Persia circa 1900. Size measures 3'10" x 5'4".
