4x5.5 Vintage Tabriz Rug

:: Quatrefoil oriented center medallion with scalloped trefoil contour, each point with a minor palmette, finials blossom atop an open abrashed field. Colors and shades include: Sandalwood, coffee brown, chocolate brown, ivory, antique ivory, beige, dusty rose, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with small isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple small areas of foundation showing through. A few blemishes to the interior, partially exposing a slightly deeper color tone of the original roots of the pile. One grapefruit sized stain to the reverse of the carpet which shows through slightly to the face of the rug. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 4'3" x 5'6".
