4x5.5 Vintage Tabriz Rug

:: Scalloped roundel center medallion atop an open field with finials at either opposing end. Main border in a Safavid inspired design of meandering arabesques. Colors and shades include: Beige, sand, navy blue, antique ivory, pale coffee brown, pale dusty seafoam and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured ends with mostly secure sides. One or two minor dime size spots. Colors on the reverse side vary slightly from those of the patina and oxidation on the face. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Tabriz rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 4'1" x 5'8".
