:: Diamond shaped center medallion with stepped contour and serrated outline atop an open field with reciprocating vases on opposing ends symbolizing the bounty of life. On either side of the plants mirrored on the carpet is a 'bunny' that is most likely a mythological creature, citing Persian literature, which is part lion, part ram. Note that each figure is looking outwardly representing protection. Although a Persian carpet, it is possibly an Armenian weaver and / or a seasoned Armenian dyer. Colors and shades include: madder root red, cochineal, teal, saffron yellow, indigo navy blue, blush, and more.
