:: Long stemmed lattice oriented vinery with geometric buds and germinating plants stemming therefrom atop a covered field of plants, shrubs and finned floral design elements. Wide banded main border reminiscent of dragon style Safavid reciprocating contour with leaves and floral cross sections wrapping the perimeter. Colors and shades include: Dusty rose, pink, indigo blue, sky blue, ivory, a hint of mallard green and more. Condition notes: Even wear across to knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Melas rug made in Turkey circa 1970's vintage. Size measures 4'2" x 6'8".
