Fantastic tone-on-tone and contrast almost imparting a leopard print appearance in the patterned blossoms within the border. Top center main border bears a signature cartouche, illegible, but likely a workshop made to order commission. Colors and shades include: Antique ivory, navy blue charcoal, blush, mauve, dusty faded cochineal purple, sand, beige, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with faint foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Tatter to ends. Multiple areas of professional repairs. Signs of old moth nibbles on the reverse of the carpet. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
