:: Antique Persian Kerman rug with large center medallion atop indigo field. Carpet features unusual cloudband border. Approximate weaving date circa conservative 1895. Fairly heavy wear across the center area of the rug. Carpet is in mostly original condition with minor loss to edges and sides. Threadbare areas and tattering across. Each end could benefit from stabilization/overcasting (additional), although is not necessary. The carpet is free of any major repairs, does have a line of glue on each outer minor border to prevent loss to ends. Measurements: 4'5" x 6'7".
