4x7 Vintage Distressed Oushak Rug

:: Roundel center medallion featuring mirrored end finials in trefoil contour emulating the traditional rams horn motif. Diminutive germinating plants enveloping the interior of the main medallion, also reciprocated in the corner spandrel overlays. Simplistic primitive renderings of floral cross-sections found throughout, in addition to European stylization and rococo influence. Colors and shades include: Beige, blush, slate blue, faded violet purple, dusty slate gray, pale gold, and more. Condition notes: Very even wear to knot heads, showing minimal signs of foundation. Fully secured sides and ends, original side cord selvage intact. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1950's vintage. Size measures 4'3" X 7'1".
