Vintage Heriz Rug Product Description and Details

:: Starburst center medallion atop a covered geometric vine and blossom main field. Corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocate the contour of the main medallion, with the main border in a Turtle Samovar and Herati design rendering. Vivid gem tones and deep saturation with high grade, super-soft, wool pile. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, navy blue, powder blue, mallard green, madder root red, beige, sand, dusty gold, burgundy wine red, and more. Condition notes: Mostly even short pile across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. One inch bare spot on selvage localized to one corner. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Heriz rug made in Persia circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 5'1" x 6'4".
