:: Unusually fine antique Bijar with wool pile and wool foundation. Knot density measures in excess of 320, and in some places close to 400. Superb detail with every opportunity performed by the weaver to fully showcase exceptional capability in curvilinear execution. Colors and shades include: charcoal blue/black, ivory, hints of terra-cotta, beige, camel, light blue, and many more. Fully secured sides and ends, even wear across to knot heads. Slightly richer colors on the reverse side, partially due to red wool wefting, adding to the appearance of a brighter shade. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this antique Bijar carpet, hand knotted in Persia circa 1910. Size measures 5' x 7'3".
