Main border in a palmette and boteh design motif. A period correct painted rug. Colors and shades include: Ivory, beige, sky blue, raspberry red, black cherry red, magenta, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Minor reduction to both ends. One end measures 4'9" whereas the opposing measures 4'11". One side measures 6'10" whereas the opposing measures 7'1". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mohajeran Sarouk rug made in Persia circa 1920's vintage. Size measures 4'11" x 7'1".
