Part of a very select group of transitional Mohajeran Sarouk rugs woven in very fine quality and adventurous stylization fusing classical Persian design with a flair of partial European influence and an outside-the-box motif. Colors and shades include: Cherry red, beige, navy blue, sand, sky blue, blush, magenta, fuchsia, mallard green, pomegranate red, gold, pale coffee brown, ivory, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Light professional reduction to the perimeter.
