:: Star medallion in geometric form bursting within itself with scrolling islimis and arabesques. Trefoil, Flore de lis design elements and contouring comprised of full dramatic effect of this uniquely drawn medallion. Field color in a dusty faded cherry red with corner spandrels reciprocating elements found within the medallion. Particularly unique in this carpet is the use of parallel stripes whether horizontal or vertical within the weaving, adding to the artistic merit not commonly found in other rugs of this ilk. Colors include ivory, faded celadon green, blanched bronze, charcoal brown and abrashes thereof. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this distressed hand knotted Turkish Oushak carpet circa 1940's vintage. Exact size measures 6' x 9'4".
