:: Hand knotted with a plush pile and cotton foundation, each individual folk art carpet in this collection are woven in virgin wool, dyed with age-old techniques of natural vegetable derived dyes. Shades of blue are derived from natural indigo, the reds from madder root base. Production is rather limited, and within the range of related carpets we offer from this village-woven Tibetan line, each piece exemplifies true, authentic, artistic merit: No two carpets the same. The pictorial imagery demonstrates a day in the life of herding, farming and mountainous region in which the natives reside. Condition Notes: In new, unused condition, ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Tibetan Folk Art carpet, woven within the past 15 years. Exact size measures 6' x 8'9".
