:: Large scale sprawling serrated leaves and floral cross sections in simplistic rendering and expressive relief wrapped by a turtle samovar main border. Colors and shades include: Madder red, ivory, gold, sky blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of repairs in varying degrees of expertise. Minor reduction to one end resulting in loss of approximately five rows. Extensive restoration throughout, older touch-ups. Ideally suited for a low traffic area deeper inside the home. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet made in Persia circa 1895-1910 vintage. Size measures 7'8" x 10'4".
