Adorning the field include palmettes, lotus flowers, blossoming planters in vases, along with floral bouquets in a lattice orientation through the use of scrolling vines and tendrils. Intricate border reciprocates similar design elements interconnected by highly expressive Arabesque style designs and ornate, flowing cloudbands. Colors include soft beige, gold, jewel tones in ruby, emerald families. Rust and soft hints of saffron and terra cotta. All contrasted with deep navy blues. Exquisite colors and design with balanced use of positive andnegative space throughout. Many years of enjoyment to come with this carpet! Recently professionally cleaned, ready for in-home use. This vintage 1950's distressed Kazvin hand knotted in Iran measures 7'10" x 10'9".
