:: Allover repeating herati design with alternating colorfills of dark oxidized copper green, soft sand, beige, light powder blue and sky blue atop a rust/madder root orange/brick red field. Main border is a samovar design/turtle motif with intermingling vines and minor flower accents. Other colors include tangerine orange, antique ivory, pale blush, light coffee brown and mellow gold. Striated abrashes throughout. Fine, even weave with lots of intricacies and excellent mapping. Very good condition with even wear across to knot heads and some light areas of exposed foundation upon close inspection. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this vintage hand knotted Persian Mahal carpet woven circa 1930's. Exact size measures 9'4" x 11'6".
