9.5x17 Vintage Distressed Agra Carpet

:: Allover covered field in a Herati motif. Unique to the type and age, the cotton pile is somewhat unique in cut-piled carpets, able to achieve a silk-like softness, and a near arctic white shade. Colors and shades include: Powder blue, arctic white, lemon gold and more. Condition notes: Even, short pile height across. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Selvage around the entire perimeter. Some of the roots are deeper and/or different color than those at the tips of the pile. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Indian Agra carpet made in India circa 1930's vintage. Size measures 9'8" x 17'2".
