:: Allover covered field with delicate scrolled vines interlaced with lotus flower cross-sections, palmettes, blossoms, and scrolled serrated leaves, all inspired by Safavid era vase carpets. Main border in a floral arabesque with delicate tendril meandering vine and palmette cross-section design motif with minor borders emulating similar relief to that of the main in simplified rendering. Colors and shades include: Sandalwood, beige, dusty apricot, dark jade green, dusty teal, navy blue, sand, dusty powder blue, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Multiple areas of repairs in varying degrees of expertise.
