:: This antique Persian brocade textile, potentially dating to 17th century Safavid period, appears to be an early and well-preserved example of its kind, retaining its original backing. The composition features a delicate allover floral pattern in soft pinks, greens, and muted reds set against an ivory field, lending it a light, airy presence. A finely patterned border frames the central field, while a subtle blue edge, the visible reverse of the original backing, creates a distinctive enveloping outline. Size measures: 3'1" x 3'10"
