:: Beautiful chippy circa 1800s antique wooden children's chair. Rustic and primitive aesthetic that has so much character. As you can see in the photographs, there is a mix of old white paint, old dark green paint, and some old red paint presumable as well, with the original aged wood showing through in many areas. Sturdy for its age, still beautifully rocking, and we can easily spray it for you with clear lacquer to prevent further chipping (simply request it upon checkout). Conditional notes: the chair has its chipped paint look that we wouldn't dare change; also, the rocking legs were secured with primitive wooden dowels and one is missing - making the one particular leg loose. We will secure this with wood before it goes out but just know that one dowel will not be original to the chair's time. As you can see in photo #3 there seems to be a crack going down just to the side of the middle, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the structure of the chair. Would look lovely in a shabby chic space, a garden, as a doll chair or just as a piece of decor in any antique-inspired home. Measures 26.5" tall, 14" wide, the rocking legs measure 18" long and from the seat bottom to the top of the chair it is 14".
